On morning of 21st July I was at station when Bergt.Davies brought accused to station in ricksha.
It was about 3.10 2.0.
Sergt.Davies called me out and left me in charge of Deft.in ricksba.
I didn't know why accused was in custody.
I didn't speak to accused or question him.
He suddenly made a statement.

I can't remember it all now but when I went into the Charge room I took it down.
It was five or ten minutes after the statement was made.
This is my notebook containing the note.
He spoke Puntei which 1 understand.

On morning of 21st July I went to 3rd floor 211 Lai Chi Kək Rd. About 3.30 m.m. I took charge of two bodies and about 8 a.m.
I removed them to Kowloon Public Mortuary.
At 9 a.m. I identified them in presence of Dorling.
No xxn.

Insp.of Folice: Det.Insp.for Kowloon. Yaumati Station. At 3.30 a.m. on 21st July I went to 211 Lai Chi Kok Road. I got there ten minutes later.
In rear cubicle I found two bodies
in Ex.5.
man and woman, lying as
Both naked. Both dead. Each had wound aver heart.
By legs of dead man I found Ex.13, two pieces of broken bowl. Both on floor.
On window sill inside I found knife (Ex.2).
It was aginst woodwork about 8* from right hand side of window. Winde was wet with blood on both sides.
Handle was broken- split from the bottom as now.
No truce of blood on handle.

The window was open in both halves - fastened back as in Ext.7 I look at Ext.5. Stain on window sill and on wall below it is blood.
There was blood smear outside the window on the outer will which looked like the smear of a blood stained hand.
Blood just below body of male and blood on bed below body of female.
Not much blood.
